The essential elements of the position include:

- Works with Corporate, Field Compliance Managers, Branch Managers,



Process/Disposal facility Managers,
- Transportation Compliance and Regulatory Agencies daily.
- Manages the regulatory reporting and associated fees for the company’s locations and fleets to maintain
- compliance with the regulatory requirements.
- Must be adaptable each Q1 to work extended periods of time to meet the regulatory dictated deadlines.
- Understanding of chemical compositions.
- Coordinate changes to regulatory reports with MIS, provide overviews of the desired result, and perform
- detailed testing.
- Provide training as needed for the field and co-workers.
- Update SOPs for regulatory reporting and internal processes.
- Other compliance projects, as requested.

Competencies:

Knowledge of:

- US DOT (Dept of Transportation)
- RCRA (Resource Conservation Recovery Act)
- NPDES (National Pollution Discharge Elimination System)
- CWA (Clean Water Act)
- US/STATE EPA (Environmental Protection Agencies)
- Canadian MOE regulations (Ministry of Environment)

- Excellent communication (in English) oral and written.
- Work well as a team, independently and under pressure.
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills
- Deadline oriented (prioritize projects according to meet the deadlines)
- Able to manage projects effectively and accurately under pressure.
- High diligence, motivated and initiative-taker.
- Above average competencies in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Effectively and professionally work with any level of management or regulatory agency.
- Familiar with different process/disposal facilities and methods of waste management (preferred).

Education/Experience:

- Degree in Environmental Science, chemistry or in a related field (required)
- US DOT and RCRA Certifications (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year employment history in a related field.
