About the Role

Buff Institute of Design & Technology is looking for an experienced and passionate Full-Stack IT Trainer / Senior IT Mentor to join our academic team.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of software development, data, AI, cloud and modern IT technologies, along with the ability to mentor students and deliver industry-oriented training.

This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys both technology and teaching and can guide students from fundamentals to real-world project development.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and practical IT training sessions.
- Mentor students throughout their learning journey.
- Explain complex technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Provide hands-on coding exercises, assignments and projects.
- Guide students in developing industry-oriented projects and portfolios.
- Conduct assessments, code reviews and project evaluations.
- Support students with technical problem-solving and debugging.
- Prepare students for technical interviews and career opportunities.
- Develop and improve training materials and practical learning activities.
- Stay updated with current technologies, industry practices and emerging trends.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with the academic and placement teams to improve student outcomes.

Required Skills





Robust knowledge in full-stack development with good exposure to areas such as:

- Programming & Software Development
- Web Technologies
- Databases & APIs
- Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Generative AI
- Cloud & DevOps
- Linux and development tools

Candidates with exposure to multiple technology domains will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

- 2+ years of professional IT experience
- Strong hands-on development experience.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with students from beginner to advanced levels.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of current industry practices.
- Passion for mentoring and developing future IT professionals.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
