Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) for Power Banks, Bluetooth audio speakers, Party speakers, and Mobile tablet products. This includes concept design, BOM finalization, supplier coordination, prototyping, testing, and mass-production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Product Development

- Lead product development from concept to mass production for assigned categories.
- Prepare PRD (Product Requirement Document) and technical specifications.
- Evaluate feasibility, product design, materials, and technology options.
- Create prototypes and coordinate product samples with vendors.

2. Technical & Engineering

- Work on circuitry, battery technologies (Li-ion/Li-poly), power management ICs for power banks.
- Understand audio acoustics, drivers, amplifiers, and enclosure design for Bluetooth/party speakers.
- Coordinate with design teams for ID/MD, PCB layout changes, and mechanical improvements.
- Review hardware schematics, test reports, and compliance documents.

3. Supplier & Factory Coordination

- Work closely with OEM/ODM suppliers (India/China) for development and engineering builds.
- Conduct DVT, PVT, and pilot production verification.
- Manage BOM cost, negotiate technical changes, and ensure quality adherence.
- Approve engineering samples, golden samples, and final mass production units.

4. Testing & Certification

- Conduct or supervise performance testing:
- Battery safety, charging, efficiency tests (for power banks)
- Acoustics, Bluetooth reliability, durability tests (speakers)
- Display,



CPU, thermal tests (tablets)
- Ensure regulatory compliance: BIS, CE, RoHS, WPC, BEE, etc.

5. Project & Documentation Management

- Create and maintain project timelines, NPD trackers, and technical documentation.
- Provide regular status updates to management.
- Ensure on-time product launch with controlled quality and cost.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Quality, SCM, Marketing, Tooling, and Industrial Design teams.
- Support marketing with product features, packaging content, and training materials.
- Work with after-sales to resolve product failures and implement corrective actions (CAPA).

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in NPD for consumer electronics.
- Solid understanding of:
- Battery technologies & power electronics (for power banks)
- Bluetooth audio architecture & speaker acoustics
- Tablet hardware: display, chipset, connectivity modules
- Experience working with ODM/OEM factories.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (BIS, CE, WPC, RoHS).
- Good analytical, documentation, and project management skills.
- Experience with tools: CAD (for ME review), Altium/OrCAD (for PCB review), Excel, Jira, PLM tools.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in China factory coordination.
- Knowledge of software/UI testing for tablets.
- Understanding of acoustic measurement tools and battery test instruments.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
