Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Structural Designer / Structural Detailer to prepare structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, shop drawings, and related structural documentation for residential, commercial, and other building projects. The candidate should have positive knowledge of RCC detailing, structural drafting standards, and the ability to coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare structural drawings and detailed reinforcement drawings for RCC buildings.
- Develop structural plans, sections, elevations, foundation layouts, column layouts, beam layouts and slab layouts.
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.
- Detail footings, pile foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, retaining walls, shear walls and other RCC elements.
- Prepare structural shop drawings and construction/detailing drawings.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP requirements.
- Incorporate revisions based on structural engineer/client/site requirements.
- Prepare reinforcement details, lap lengths, development lengths, anchorage details and construction joints as per applicable codes and structural design.
- Check drawings for dimensional accuracy, reinforcement congestion and constructability.
- Assist structural engineers in preparing design-related drawings and documentation.




- Prepare as-built structural drawings based on site requirements.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to resolve drawing/detailing issues.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control and documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant IS Codes, structural design standards and project specifications.

Required Technical Skills

- AutoCAD – mandatory
- Good knowledge of RCC structural detailing
- Knowledge of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS)
- Understanding of IS 456, IS 13920 and relevant Indian Standards
- Ability to read structural design calculations and convert them into construction drawings
- Knowledge of reinforcement detailing and construction practices
- Basic knowledge of structural analysis/design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS or SAFE is an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

- M.Tech/M.E in structural engineering
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with relevant experience in structural designing/detailing
- Experience in RCC building design/detailing
- Practical site experience will be an advantage
- Ability to independently prepare structural drawings from engineer's design inputs

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
