Position: Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane West
Experience: 1–4 years
Preferred: 2–4 years in dispatch, logistics, transportation or courier coordination
Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000/month, depending on experience and capability

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate daily dispatch of finished goods to customers.
- Coordinate with courier companies, transporters and logistics partners for shipment pickup and delivery.
- Select appropriate courier/transport mode based on shipment size, urgency and destination.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents, invoices, delivery challans, packing lists, LR/consignment details, etc.
- Arrange pickup schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
- Track shipments and follow up with courier/transport companies for delayed deliveries.
- Obtain and maintain PODs (Proof of Delivery) and dispatch records.
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Stores and Production teams regarding dispatch requirements.
- Maintain daily dispatch reports in Excel/ERP.
- Verify freight/transport bills and coordinate with Accounts for discrepancies.




- Handle customer/vendor queries related to shipment status.
- Maintain records of courier and transporter rates and performance.
- Follow up on undelivered, damaged or returned shipments.
- Ensure proper packing and documentation before material leaves the factory.

Candidate profile

I would specifically look for someone who has:

- 1–4 years' experience in Dispatch / Logistics / Transportation / Courier coordination.
- Experience in a manufacturing company would be a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with ERP/SAP/Tally or similar systems is desirable.
- Positive communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple transporters/courier companies.
- Knowledge of LR, POD, e-way bill, invoice, delivery challan and basic dispatch documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple dispatches simultaneously.
- Good geographical knowledge of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai is useful.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
