About Mindmine Global

Mindmine Global is looking for an experienced Study Abroad Counsellor to join our team in Janakpuri, New Delhi. The role involves guiding students and parents through international education opportunities, university selection, admissions, documentation and visa processes.

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in Study Abroad / Overseas Education Counselling and good knowledge of multiple international destinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students for UG and PG study abroad programs based on their academic profile, career goals, preferences and budget.
- Guide students regarding suitable countries, courses, universities and programs.
- Provide counselling and admission guidance for destinations including UK, USA, Canada and Australia, along with other international destinations.
- Manage students through the complete admission journey, from initial counselling to application and admission.
- Guide students on SOP, LOR, CV, financial documents and other university application requirements.
- Provide guidance and coordination related to student visa processes and documentation.
- Conduct counselling sessions with students as well as parents and effectively address their concerns.
- Follow up with students regarding applications, documents, offers, admissions and visa processes.
- Manage multiple student files, application deadlines and admission cycles simultaneously.
- Maintain accurate student information and follow-ups through CRM and internal systems.




- Coordinate with universities and internal teams to ensure smooth application processing.
- Stay updated with changes in university admission requirements, intakes, visa regulations and international education policies.
- Work towards counselling, application and conversion targets while maintaining a positive student experience.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Study Abroad Counselling, Overseas Education, International Admissions or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UK, USA, Canada and Australia admissions and visa processes.
- Working knowledge of at least 2–3 additional international study destinations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SOP, LOR, CV and university application requirements.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong student and parent counselling skills.
- Ability to explain complex admission and visa processes clearly and confidently.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple student applications and deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, university portals, MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience in Study Abroad / Overseas Education Counselling.

Candidates with experience primarily in telecalling, lead generation, domestic education counselling or general sales, without relevant international education/admissions experience, may not be suitable for this position.
