Job Description: Duty Doctor

**Location:Kovilpatti | Kalugumalai, Tamil Nadu

**Shift:** Morning Shift | Evening Sfift

**Accommodation and Food:** Provided

**Compensation:** Overtime and extra duties shall be paid accordingly

**Role and Responsibilities:**

- **Patient Care:** Handle OPD cases including Pediatric medicine, respiratory issues, chest conditions, and fevers.

- **Medical Procedures:** Skilled in wound care, dressing, and basic fracture management.

- **Clinical Skills:** Perform thorough clinical examinations and accurately enter findings and diagnoses into the hospital system.

- **Prescription Management:** Prescriptions must be made through the hospital's digital system (handwritten prescriptions are not allowed).

- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with hospital staff and administration to ensure seamless patient care and information flow.

- **Adaptability:** Be prepared to handle cases both in Kovilpatti and Kalugumalai and the surrounding areas as required.

**Qualifications:**

- M.D / DNB/ DCH from a recognized institution.

- Valid medical license to practice in Tamil Nadu.

- Previous experience in an OPD setting is preferred but not mandatory.

- Proficiency in basic medical procedures such as suturing, dressing wounds, and managing basic fractures.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the hospital's procedures and systems.





- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

**Requirements:**

- Commitment to handling morning and night shifts as required.

- Ability to make accurate clinical assessments and timely entries into the hospital's system.

- Willingness to learn and follow the hospital's protocols and standards.

- Flexibility to cover cases in Kovilpatti and other designated areas.

- Readiness to live in the provided accommodation and utilize the food provisions during the tenure of stay.
