- Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Ethernet AUTOSAR Engineer with strong expertise in:
- Automotive Ethernet
- AUTOSAR Classic
- AVB (Audio Video Bridging)
- TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking)
- Embedded Linux / RTOS
- Real-time networking protocols
- The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, debugging, and validating deterministic Ethernet communication solutions for automotive embedded systems.
- The role involves working with the AUTOSAR Ethernet Stack, IEEE 802.1 TSN standards, Embedded Linux/RTOS, and automotive communication protocols.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Automotive Ethernet communication solutions.
- Develop and integrate AUTOSAR Ethernet Stack components.
- Implement and optimize IEEE 802.1 TSN standards, including:
- IEEE 802.1AS – gPTP
- IEEE 802.1Qav – Credit-Based Shaper
- IEEE 802.1Qbv – Time-Aware Scheduling
- IEEE 802.1Qbu / IEEE 802.3br – Frame Preemption
- IEEE 802.1CB – Frame Replication and Elimination
- Develop, integrate, and debug Ethernet communication stacks on Embedded Linux or RTOS platforms.
- Perform integration and validation of AVB/TSN features in:
- Automotive ECUs
- Gateways
- Ethernet Switches
- End Nodes
- Analyze Ethernet network traffic using:
- Wireshark
- Vector CANoe
- Vector CANalyzer
- Similar protocol analysis tools
- Perform latency measurements and synchronization validation.
- Conduct performance analysis and troubleshoot Ethernet communication issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, system, software, and application teams.
- Ensure deterministic and reliable communication performance.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical discussions.
- Interact with customers and support technical discussions when required.
- Required Skills – Automotive Ethernet & Networking
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Ethernet.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and UDP.
- Strong understanding of VLAN – IEEE 802.1Q.
- Good understanding of QoS concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Understanding of Ethernet switching and routing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with automotive Ethernet communication.
- Required Skills – AUTOSAR
- Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform.
- Strong understanding of AUTOSAR Ethernet Stack.
- Experience with:
- Ethernet Interface – EthIf
- Ethernet Driver – Eth
- TCP/IP Stack
- Socket Adapter – SoAd
- Diagnostics over IP – DoIP
- SOME/IP communication
- Understanding of Ethernet communication architecture within AUTOSAR.
- Experience integrating and debugging AUTOSAR Ethernet modules.
AUTOSAR specifically defines EthIf as the standardized interface to the Ethernet bus and Eth as the abstraction layer for the Ethernet controller; SoAd provides the socket-adaptation layer and DoIP functionality is integrated into the Ethernet communication architecture.

- Awareness of Functional Safety – ISO 26262.
- Knowledge of ASPICE processes.
- Previous Automotive domain experience.
- Preferred Experience
- 4–10 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software.
- Hands-on experience with Automotive Ethernet and AUTOSAR.
- Practical experience with AVB and/or TSN implementation and validation.
- Strong debugging and protocol analysis skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideal Candidate Profile
- Automotive Embedded Software Engineer with strong AUTOSAR Ethernet experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Eth, EthIf, TCP/IP, SoAd, DoIP and SOME/IP.
- Practical exposure to AVB/TSN and gPTP/PTP.
- Solid C/C++ programming and embedded debugging skills.
- Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer and Wireshark.
- Automotive ECU, Gateway, Ethernet Switch, or connectivity development experience will be highly preferred.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
