Role: WordPress Web Developer Intern

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Kolhapur (On-site / Hybrid)

Stipend: Month 1: Unpaid (Training & Evaluation) | Months 2–6: ₹2,000 to ₹5,000/month (Performance-based)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Web Developer Intern to build, customize, and maintain modern, responsive websites for dynamic client projects. This internship provides direct, practical experience with theme customization, page builders, plugin integration, and site optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Website Design & Development:
- Build clean, responsive, and mobile-friendly websites using WordPress and visual page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi).
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to match client branding and layout mockups.
- Structure website menus, headers, footers, landing pages, and contact forms.
- Plugin Management & Integration:
- Configure essential plugins for forms (Contact Form 7, WPForms), SEO (Yoast/RankMath), caching, and security.
- Assist in setting up tracking pixels (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) and basic API/webhook connections.
- Maintenance & Performance:




- Perform basic speed optimization tasks (image compression, caching setup, database cleanup).
- Conduct cross-browser and mobile device responsiveness testing before launching pages.
- Troubleshoot layout bugs, broken links, and plugin conflicts.

Requirements & Skills

- Basic understanding of WordPress CMS architecture, pages, posts, and widget areas.
- Practical familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and page builders like Elementor.
- Basic knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with basic PHP/JavaScript or domain/hosting cPanel setups is an added advantage.
- Eagerness to learn new web technologies, problem-solve quickly, and meet project deadlines.
