Our mission is to build a sustainable, localized supply chain for critical energy transition materials through advanced recycling processes. We are looking for bright, driven engineering graduates with a hands-on builder's mindset to join our foundational team in Kolkata.

The Role

We are seeking a versatile Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to help physically build and optimize our recycling operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and physical execution. You will draft the technical schematics for our mechanical processing line, fabricate and assemble the machinery, and lead the hands-on dismantling of battery packs for conversion into Black Mass.

Key Responsibilities

- Machinery Fabrication & Layout: Design (CAD/SolidWorks) and physically help assemble the mechanical processing line, including shredders, granulators, separation equipment, and conveyor systems.
- Battery Dismantling Operations: Lead the secure physical discharging, teardown, and mechanical shredding of lithium-ion battery packs to extract high-yield Black Mass.
- Electrical & Automation Integration: Integrate basic electrical components into the mechanical line, including wiring motors, installing sensors, setting up control panels, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Process Engineering: Map out and continuously optimize the workflow from raw battery packs to processed material, focusing on mechanical efficiency and yield improvements.
- Safety & Compliance: Implement and strictly enforce thermal runaway, off-gassing, and environmental safety protocols on the factory floor.

Minimum Qualifications





- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- High proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for drafting industrial mechanical systems.
- Practical, hands-on experience with tools, machinery assembly, and physical fabrication.
- Fundamental understanding of basic electrical wiring, motors, and control systems.
- Strong awareness of physical and electrical safety protocols.
- Excellent technical communication skills in English, Hindi/Bengali.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous internship or academic project experience involving mechatronics, industrial automation, or physical machinery fabrication.
- Basic understanding of lithium-ion battery architecture (cylindrical, pouch, prismatic).

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
