Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Boiler Operator / Boiler Runner with 5–6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of boilers and associated utility equipment, ensuring uninterrupted steam supply to the plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor boilers and associated utility systems safely and efficiently.
- Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, and boiler parameters as per operational requirements.
- Monitor boiler water level, fuel consumption, pressure, temperature, and other operating parameters.
- Conduct routine inspections of the boiler, pumps, valves, gauges, pipelines, and related equipment.
- Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, changeover, and emergency operations as per SOPs.
- Carry out routine boiler blowdown and maintain water quality parameters as instructed.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, and Utility teams for uninterrupted steam supply.
- Maintain boiler logbooks, checklists, operational records, and other required documentation.
- Identify abnormal conditions, equipment failures, leakages, or safety issues and report them immediately.
- Follow all SOPs, GMP, EHS, and safety requirements applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ensure proper use and availability of PPE and boiler safety equipment.




- Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance personnel when required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to boiler operation and safety.
- Participate in inspections, audits, and statutory boiler-related activities.

Mandatory Qualification & Certification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter / relevant technical trade preferred.
- Valid Boiler Attendant / Boiler Operator Certificate or License is mandatory, as applicable under Telangana statutory requirements.
- Candidate must have hands-on experience operating industrial boilers.
- Knowledge of boiler safety, steam systems, water treatment, and utility operations is required.

Experience

- 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Boiler Operator / Boiler Attendant / Boiler Runner.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience with industrial steam boilers and utility systems will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of boiler operation and safety.
- Basic troubleshooting and equipment monitoring skills.
- Knowledge of boiler water treatment and chemical dosing.
- Ability to read pressure gauges, temperature indicators, and other utility parameters.
- Good documentation and logbook-maintenance skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety and emergency procedures.

Important Requirement

Valid Boiler Operator/Boiler Attendant Certificate/License is mandatory. Candidates without the required statutory certification/license should not be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
