We’re Hiring: Field Service Engineers – Odisha & Gujarat

Presage Insights is looking for Field Service Engineers / Service Executives to support installation and commissioning of our industrial IoT and condition-monitoring solutions at customer sites.

We are looking for people who are comfortable working inside manufacturing plants, power plants, cement plants, steel plants and other industrial environments and have a valuable understanding of electrical systems and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities and Job Description

- Installation and commissioning of wireless condition-monitoring sensors, gateways and associated hardware
- Sensor mounting and configuration on industrial equipment such as:
- Motors
- Pumps
- Fans & blowers
- Gearboxes
- Compressors
- Conveyors and other rotating machinery
- Configuration and troubleshooting of sensors, gateways and communication networks
- Conduct site surveys before installation
- Identify suitable sensor mounting locations and gateway/network locations
- Perform basic electrical checks at customer sites
- Support installation of current sensors / CTs and electrical monitoring equipment
- Coordinate with customer electrical, instrumentation and maintenance teams
- Check network connectivity, power availability and installation feasibility
- Troubleshoot hardware, communication and connectivity issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and service visits
- Verify data transmission from installed devices to the Presage platform
- Maintain proper installation records, photographs, commissioning reports and site documentation
- Provide basic training to customer maintenance teams
- Coordinate remotely with Presage's technical and engineering teams when required

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical, Electronics,



Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related engineering field
- 2–5 years of field/service experience preferred
- Good understanding of:
- Motors and rotating machinery
- Electrical panels and MCCs
- CTs, wiring and basic electrical measurements
- Industrial sensors and instrumentation
- Basic networking / Wi-Fi / Ethernet concepts
- Previous experience working inside industrial plants or manufacturing facilities
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and basic equipment layouts
- Comfortable using multimeters and basic electrical/instrumentation tools
- Hands-on attitude and ability to troubleshoot problems at site
- Good communication with plant maintenance and engineering teams
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and occasionally outside the region

Candidates with experience in any of the following would have an advantage:

- PLC / SCADA systems
- Industrial wireless networks

- Power plants, steel, cement, mining, chemicals, pharma or other process/manufacturing industries

What We Value

This is a hands-on field role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable wearing a helmet and safety shoes, entering a plant, understanding the equipment, talking to maintenance engineers and getting the installation successfully commissioned.

Strong practical knowledge and the ability to solve problems at site are more important to us than purely theoretical experience.
