Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer with relevant experience in Trailer Chassis Manufacturing, Heavy Fabrication, Structural Steel, or similar Engineering Manufacturing industries. The candidate will be responsible for timely procurement of raw materials, bought-out components, consumables, and subcontracting services.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure MS Plates, HR/CR Sheets, Structural Steel, Pipes, Tubes, Angles, Channels, Beams, Round & Flat Bars as per production requirements.
- Purchase Trailer Chassis Components, Axles, Suspension Parts, Wheels & Tyres, Fasteners, Bearings, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Components and other bought-out items.
- Handle procurement of Welding Consumables, Grinding/Cutting Discs, Industrial Gases, Paints, Chemicals, Lubricants and PPE.
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, negotiate prices and issue POs.
- Coordinate with vendors for Laser Cutting, Bending, Machining, Fabrication and other subcontracting activities.
- Ensure on-time delivery,



quality, competitive pricing and material availability.
- Develop new vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, QA and Accounts for procurement requirements.
- Follow up on pending materials and resolve supplier quality/delivery issues.
- Maintain purchase records and ERP documentation.

Only candidates with relevant Purchase/Procurement experience in Trailer, Heavy Fabrication, Structural Steel or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
