Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior CT & MRI Technician to perform advanced CT Scan and MRI procedures while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety. The candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, coordinating with radiologists, supervising junior technicians, and maintaining imaging protocols and quality standards within the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform CT Scan and MRI procedures as prescribed by radiologists and physicians.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain CT and MRI equipment efficiently and safely.
- Administer contrast media under radiologist supervision and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition for optimal diagnostic quality.
- Monitor radiation safety measures and MRI safety protocols at all times.
- Assist radiologists during specialized imaging procedures and emergency cases.
- Review imaging results for clarity and completeness before submission to radiologists.
- Maintain imaging records,



patient data, and procedure documentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate maintenance/service requirements.
- Ensure proper sterilization, infection control, and biomedical waste management practices.
- Train and supervise junior technicians, interns, and support staff.
- Coordinate scheduling and workflow to ensure timely imaging services.
- Maintain adequate stock of contrast agents, consumables, and emergency supplies.
- Participate in quality assurance and accreditation activities within the department.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology Imaging Technology or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Certification in CT & MRI Technology preferred.
- Valid radiation safety certification as per regulatory requirements.
