Role: SEM / Performance Marketing Intern (Meta Ads & Google Ads)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Kolhapur (In office / Hybrid)

Stipend: Month 1: Unpaid (Training & Evaluation) | Months 2–6: ₹2,000 to ₹5,000/month (Performance-based)

About the Role

We are seeking an analytical, data-driven, and proactive SEM / Performance Marketing Intern to support paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in campaign structuring, audience targeting, ad copywriting, conversion tracking, and budget optimization for live client projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram):
- Assist in building, launching, and managing paid campaigns for lead generation, brand awareness, website traffic, and sales.
- Conduct audience research using detailed demographic targeting, lookalike audiences, and custom retargeting lists.
- Coordinate with creative teams (designers and video editors) to test different ad creatives, hooks, and formats (carousels, single image, reels).
- Google Ads (Search, Display & Local):
- Conduct high-intent keyword research, negative keyword planning, and competitor ad analysis.
- Assist in setting up Google Search, Performance Max (PMax), and Local Call campaigns.
- Write high-converting ad copies, headlines, and descriptions, while optimizing ad extensions (sitelinks, callouts, call assets).
- Tracking & Analytics:




- Assist in verifying Meta Pixel events and Google Ads conversion tracking.
- Monitor daily budgets, cost-per-click (CPC), cost-per-lead (CPL), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Prepare structured weekly and monthly ad performance reports with actionable insights.

Requirements & Skills

- Basic understanding of digital marketing funnels (Top of Funnel, Middle of Funnel, Bottom of Funnel) and paid media terminology (CPC, CTR, CPM, CPL, ROAS).
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads dashboards (coursework, certifications, or self-learning).
- Good written communication skills for drafting persuasive ad copies, headlines, and calls-to-action (CTAs).
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort working in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / MS Excel) for data reporting.
- Certifications from Google Ads or Meta Blueprint are a bonus, but not mandatory.
