Work timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM IST

Job Description

Job Title: Automation Programmer

Position Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom/windows applications and plugins using Autodesk Inventor & its API.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to custom applications and plugins.
- Do proper testing and maintain 100% accuracy for all plugins before releasing them to production.
- Document code and create user manuals for developed tools and applications.




- Must be familiar with iLogic part template creation.
- Must be capable of developing COM applications (COM Programming)
- Serialization and deserialization of JSON/XML formats.
- Testing and updating the application.
- Develop/modify Templates using Autodesk Inventor iLogic and API.
- Develop excel macros with CAD integration for automation.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates of Autodesk Inventor and its API.
- Able to develop standalone, add-in applications and dynamic link libraries.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VB.NET, and C# (Strong object-oriented programming skills are a must)
- Train & develop the team’s skill level to meet department productivity and quality metrics.
- Timely resolving team issues to mitigate, and escalate, delays as required and ensure on-time completion.
- Actively work with team on CI initiatives to improve metrics.
- Actively seek team feedback and implement training procedures to increase efficiencies.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Self-driven individual with degree in mechanical, Civil, EEE
- 2-4 years of related experience in CAD (Autodesk Inventor) customization/automation background.
- Solid knowledge in C#.Net, VBA. IDE like Visual Studio.
- Basic knowledge on SQL server
- Able to understand and read exiting projects and study the client inputs/feedback.
- Able to communicate with US team and gather inputs. Submit project deliverables within time.
- Able to quickly identify bugs and fix them.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Good analytical skills, basic Mathematics, Geometry and Visualization skills.
