Profile Overview

Gyansthan Education Services is looking for a passionate and dynamic Soft Skills Trainer to conduct engaging and interactive sessions for school students in Vadodara.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and presentation skills, a good understanding of Drama/Theatre curriculum and methodologies, and the ability to use creative and experiential approaches to help students develop confidence, communication, self-expression and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Session Delivery

- Cover areas such as communication, public speaking, confidence building, interpersonal skills, teamwork, presentation skills and self-expression.
- Use Drama/Theatre techniques, role plays, storytelling, improvisation and performance-based activities to make sessions more engaging.
- Encourage students to participate actively and express themselves with confidence.
- Use practical activities, discussions and real-life situations to connect concepts with students' everyday experiences.

Curriculum & Lesson Planning

- Work with the prescribed curriculum and prepare structured lesson plans and activities aligned with the learning objectives.
- Adapt lesson plans and activities based on students' age, learning levels and classroom dynamics.
- Bring creative ideas and relevant activities into the existing curriculum while ensuring that the required learning objectives are covered.
- Develop or customise activities, scripts, role plays and other learning resources where required.

Student Development & Engagement

- Help students develop communication, confidence, creativity,



critical thinking, teamwork and presentation skills.
- Prepare and support students for presentations, assemblies, competitions, Annual Days, showcases and other school events where required.
- Observe and assess student participation and progress and provide constructive feedback.

Classroom Management & School Coordination

- Manage classroom dynamics effectively and ensure active participation throughout sessions.
- Coordinate with school coordinators, teachers and the Gyansthan team regarding schedules, curriculum, student requirements and upcoming activities.
- Support school events and special programmes as required.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality and consistency across all sessions.
- Maintain attendance, student assessment and other required records.

Skills Required

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Robust knowledge of Drama/Theatre curriculum and methodologies.
- Ability to use theatre, role play and experiential learning techniques effectively.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Patience, adaptability and enthusiasm for working with young learners.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field; candidates from diverse academic backgrounds are welcome.
- Prior experience in teaching or training school students is preferred.
- Candidates with a background in Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts, Communication, Soft Skills or Education will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working with an existing curriculum while also adapting and adding their own creative approaches.
- Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Vadodara will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
