Job Description: Accountant (E-commerce & Finance Operations)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant who can manage end-to-end financial operations, including banking, Tally Prime accounting, GST compliance, purchase orders, and e-commerce reconciliation. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, trustworthy, and capable of handling daily financial transactions with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Tally Management

- Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime
- Record daily transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries)
- Maintain ledger, balance sheet, and P&L; records
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping

2. Banking & Payment Handling

- Manage all bank accounts and transactions
- Prepare and process cheques, NEFT, RTGS, UPI payments
- Perform bank reconciliation (BRS) regularly
- Monitor cash flow and fund planning

3. GST & Compliance

- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
- Maintain GST records and reconciliation
- Generate GST-compliant invoices
- Handle input/output tax calculations

4. Purchase Orders (PO) & Vendor Management

- Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO)
- Track vendor payments and outstanding balances
- Maintain PO records and approvals




- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams

5. E-commerce Accounting

- Handle accounting for platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Shopify
- Reconcile orders, returns, commissions, and settlements
- Track marketplace deductions, fees, and payouts
- Maintain accurate platform-wise financial reports

6. Financial Reporting & Controls

- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Track expenses and cost control
- Assist in audits and compliance
- Maintain proper documentation and filing system

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1. Maintain company books of accounts in tally
- 2. Should know Eway bills, Einvoices, all sales invoices
- 3. Bank stmts and reconciliation
- 4. Party ledgers monthly confirmation
- 5. All purchase and expenses bills entries
- 6. Monthly liabilities and receivable statements
- 7. Maintain petty cash
- 8. Gst, tds and other compliances
- 9. Cordinate with Auditors and external parties for closures
- 10. Close audit procedures
- 11. Maintain all documents

Preferred Skills

- Experience handling multi-marketplace accounting
- Knowledge of inventory accounting
- Experience in startup / fast-growing company
- Ability to handle high transaction volume

- Salary: 18k to 22k Base On Experiance

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
