Role description

Responsible for executing Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) projects – Buy-side, sell-side or carve out

- Delivering high quality projects while adhering to the project timeline and budget

- Identifying (and/or assisting) potential engagement related risks and opportunities and escalating it on a timely basis with the engagement team

- Establishing strong relationship with the engagement team

- Identifying potential areas for growth and improvement during the engagement and day to day operations of the team

Assisting Manager, Assistant Managers, Seniors and Peers in initiating and developing new initiatives and processes

Skills

Understanding of Financial Statements, trial balances, accounting concepts and practices

- Understanding of the concept of Mergers and Acquisitions and value consideration associated with transactions

- Awareness of concepts like EBITDA, Working Capital, Capital Expenditure

- Understanding of different valuation methods (e.g. DCF, EBITDA multiple, LBO etc.)

- Understanding of ratios and margins and their importance (e.g. DIO, DSO, DPO, Contribution margin etc.)

- Team player and effective communication skills





- Effective time and project management skills

- Proficiency in MS-Office

- CA/CPA/MBA finance
