Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business growth and revenue for ASTO Convention Centre. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, generating new business, managing client relationships, promoting the venue, and coordinating marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

* Generate business from weddings, corporate events, conferences, meetings, exhibitions, parties and social functions.

* Identify and develop new corporate, institutional and event-related clients.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

* Handle client enquiries, prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.

* Conduct venue presentations, site visits and client meetings.

* Develop partnerships with event planners, wedding planners, travel agencies, corporates and other business partners.

* Plan and execute digital, social media, local and promotional marketing campaigns.

* Monitor competitors, market trends and pricing to identify new business opportunities.

* Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports to management.

* Coordinate with Operations, Banquet, Housekeeping, Accounts and other departments to ensure smooth event execution.

* Ensure excellent customer experience and encourage repeat business and referrals.





* Manage the sales & marketing budget and monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities.

* Lead, train and monitor the performance of the sales team, where applicable.

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in hospitality, convention centres, hotels, banquet halls or event management.

* Strong knowledge of the wedding, corporate and events market.

* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

* Strong business development and client relationship management skills.

* Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.

* Valuable knowledge of local market and business network will be an advantage.

* Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media.

* Willingness to travel locally for business development and client meetings.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
