Assembly Operator – Job Description

Job Title: Assembly Operator
Department: Production / Assembly
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Line Leader

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble components and sub-assemblies as per work instructions and production standards.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and assembly equipment safely.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Ensure the correct parts, components, and materials are used during assembly.
- Perform visual and basic quality inspections of assembled products.
- Identify and report defects, damages, or abnormalities to the Supervisor/Quality team.
- Maintain the required production quantity and cycle time.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices at the workplace.
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
- Record production and rejection details accurately.




- Handle components and finished products carefully to prevent damage.
- Support line changeovers and other production activities as instructed.
- Coordinate with team members, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores whenever required.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and good workplace behaviour.

Qualification & Skills

- Education: ITI / Diploma /BE Mechanical preferred.
- Basic knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring instruments is preferred.
- Positive hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Freshers can also be considered based on the company's requirements.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
