Production Engineer – Job Description

Position: Production Engineer
Location: Chakan, Pune
Industry: Manufacturing
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month
Employment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, monitor and control daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor manpower, machines, materials and production processes.
- Maintain production quality and reduce rejection, rework and downtime.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS and process documentation.
- Identify process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards and company procedures.




- Support productivity improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Handle shop-floor activities and resolve day-to-day production issues.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of production processes and shop-floor operations.
- Solid problem-solving, communication and team-management skills.
- Willingness to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
