Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer – Civil to ensure implementation of safety standards and statutory requirements at construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for identifying hazards, conducting inspections, implementing safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment for employees, contractors and workers.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety standards at the construction site.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable construction safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Conduct Tool Box Talks, safety inductions and training for employees, contractors and workers.
- Monitor safety practices related to excavation, scaffolding, formwork, lifting activities, work at height, electrical works and material handling.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain PPE compliance at site.
- Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports, incident reports,



checklists and other HSE documentation.
- Investigate accidents, near misses and unsafe occurrences and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, contractors and subcontractors on safety-related matters.
- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure availability of emergency equipment.
- Monitor housekeeping, access routes, barricading, signage and safe storage of construction materials.
- Ensure proper implementation of Work Permit Systems for high-risk activities.
- Conduct regular safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain records of safety training, inspections, incidents and statutory compliance.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
