Role Summary The Accounting Operations & Governance Lead will act as the Accounting & Tax operations expert to the clients, aligning with business goals in a fast-paced accounting and business consulting environment. You will drive on time, accurate service delivery and compliance with Indian Accounting & Tax Laws. This role reports to the Director and partners closely with accounts and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

● Partner with the management to develop Accounting Operation Strategies for the client that support firm growth.

● Lead day-to-day accounting operations and regulatory compliance for on time service delivery and reporting.

● Manage client relations, and promote positive and cost saving business initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

● Oversee and review the complete Accounts, Taxation, financial & regulatory compliance for the clients and related financial disclosures. Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with applicable laws.

● Working Capital Management and monitoring client invoicing including payments are received on time.

● Prepare on-demand annual budgets,



financial forecasts, and variance analysis for the clients. Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

● Support the management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.

● Client escalation management and ensure on time, quality service delivery.

● Focus on data collection, analysis, and consolidation of financial data, and monitor any variances and highlight deficiencies. Prepare monthly P&L; /Cash Flow Analysis, other financial and regulatory reporting for the client on set frequencies.

● Supervise the accounting staff, handle on time accounting reconciliations, tax filings, and team deployment per the work plan.

● Train the incumbents to ensure that the internal resources meet technical skills in Tally, GST compliance, and any other accounting & taxation softwares per business commitment & delivery.

● Lead change management for the firm expansion, tech adoptions (e.g., cloud accounting software, practising software), and support the geographical expansion of the business.

● Key Goals include improving capacity utilization (billable hours), operational efficiency through pod-based teams to mitigate accounting and regulatory risks and enhance measured outputs.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
