Overview

We are looking for a Manual Tester with 1–2 years of experience in software testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC/STLC, test case design, defect management, and quality assurance processes. Exposure to automation testing tools and emerging AI technologies, particularly Generative AI and Agentic AI, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- - Understand business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Perform retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
- Prepare and maintain test data and testing documentation.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case review activities.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and identify potential testing risks and gaps.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.




- Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.

Required Skills

- - 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Robust knowledge of test case creation, test execution, and defect life cycle.
- Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Good to Have / Added Advantage

- - Knowledge or hands-on exposure to Automation Testing concepts and tools.
- Exposure to automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Knowledge or exposure to AI platforms and AI-enabled testing solutions.
- Understanding or practical exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) concepts and platforms.
- Awareness or exposure to Agentic AI, AI agents, and AI-driven workflows.
- Familiarity with using Generative AI tools for test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, test documentation, or QA productivity.
- Awareness of the challenges involved in testing AI/ML-based applications, including response validation, accuracy, consistency, and edge-case testing.
