Job Title: Welding Manager
Location: Ahmedabad
Preferred Industry: Pressure Vessel, Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger, Air Cooled Heat Exchanger
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical / DFT / DME
Experience: 8–12 years in Heavy Engineering / Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, qualify, release and maintain WPS/PQR as per ASME Section IX.
- Maintain welder qualification records and welding documentation.
- Prepare Shop Weld Plans and procedures for tube-to-tube sheet welding, overlay and hard-facing.
- Monitor welding consumables, baking records, machine calibration and welder identification.
- Ensure welding activities comply with approved procedures and quality standards.
- Develop welding techniques for ferrous & non-ferrous metals and identify improved welding equipment/processes.

Product Knowledge: Pressure Vessels, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Process Piping, Skids & Packages.
