Role Overview

Looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Draftsman to join the engineering team. You will convert complex engineering designs into precise technical drawings and electrical schematics using AutoCAD and PCSchematics Automation software, ensuring manufacturing and assembly teams have accurate blueprints for high-stakes industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Drawing: Create detailed 2D electrical schematics/wiring diagrams on PCSchematics Automation and 2D/3D General Arrangement (GA) drawings on AutoCAD for industrial battery chargers and DC systems.

- Design Collaboration: Partner with design and production engineers to translate conceptual sketches into finalized technical layouts.

- Documentation: Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure all drawings comply with industry standards (IS/IEC)



and client specifications.

- Revision Management: Update and modify existing drawings based on client feedback or inputs from testing and site installation teams.

- Standardization: Maintain a digital library of components and standard templates to optimize drafting efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in drafting and schematic design for industrial systems.

- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) is mandatory. Familiarity with PCSchematics Automation and SolidWorks is a major advantage.

- Technical Knowledge: Proven understanding of electrical symbols, circuit theory, and industrial panel layouts.

- Soft Skills: High accuracy, strong time management to meet project deadlines, and clear communication skills.
