JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY MANAGER

Salary: ₹70,000–₹80,000 Gross per Month

Location: Jaipur / Faridabad

Reporting To: Plant Head / General Manager

Job Purpose

To manage and lead the complete Quality function for Auto Parts and Gear Parts manufacturing, ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, process control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.

Handle customer complaints, 8D, RCA, CAPA and problem-solving.

Identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.

Monitor rejection, rework, customer PPM and internal quality performance.

Ensure compliance with customer drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Implement and monitor APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA.

Conduct process, product and system audits.

Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchase and Suppliers for quality improvement.

Manage supplier quality and supplier development activities.

Ensure calibration and proper use of inspection and measuring equipment.

Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce rejection and improve productivity.

Develop and train the Quality team.





Prepare Quality MIS and management reports.

Required Experience

12–15 years of relevant experience in Automobile / Auto Components / Gear Parts manufacturing.

Strong experience in problem-solving, customer complaint handling and quality improvement.

Hands-on experience in RCA, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto and CAPA.

Experience in machining, forging and gear component manufacturing will be preferred.

Proven ability to lead and manage a Quality team.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.

Quality Management certification will be an added advantage.

Timely closure of 8D/CAPA.

Improvement in process and product quality.

Supplier quality improvement.

Audit compliance and timely closure of observations.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
