About the Role

We are looking for a Network & Infrastructure Intern who is interested in building a career in networking, IT infrastructure, and IoT-based systems.

The intern will work closely with the Project Execution and Technical Support teams and gain practical exposure to routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks, NAS, PoE devices, IP addressing, and smart home networking.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of networking concepts, a willingness to learn, and strong logical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities1. Network & IT Infrastructure

- Assist in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and internet connectivity.
- Support the team in setting up and maintaining office networking infrastructure.
- Assist with basic NAS, local server, and shared-storage activities.
- Learn and maintain IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic VLAN configurations.
- Assist in monitoring network connectivity and performance.
- Maintain basic network documentation and configuration records.
- Coordinate with senior team members and internet service providers for issue resolution.

2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- Assist the Technical Support team in diagnosing networking and connectivity issues.
- Learn to troubleshoot issues related to IP addresses, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Review basic network information, logs, and diagnostic results under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Use tools such as Ping, Traceroute, IP Scanner, and Wi-Fi Analyzer for troubleshooting.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers with proper information and observations.




- Assist in documenting recurring issues and their solutions.
- Participate in creating and updating basic technical SOPs and troubleshooting guides.

3. Smart Home & IoT Networking

- Gain practical exposure to networking requirements of smart home and IoT devices.
- Understand how automation devices communicate over local networks.
- Assist with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, PoE, and multi-access-point deployments.
- Learn the basic concepts of VLAN segregation and network security for IoT environments.
- Develop basic awareness of MQTT, Zigbee, Thread, and BLE technologies.

4. IT & Technical Inventory

- Assist in maintaining inventory of routers, switches, access points, testing equipment, cables, and other IT hardware.
- Record inward and outward movement of technical equipment.
- Maintain records of repairs, replacements, and asset allocation.
- Coordinate with senior team members for equipment availability and requirements.
- Ensure technical equipment is properly stored and ready for use.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Basic knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.
- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and IT hardware.
- Logical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new networking technologies.
- Ability to document technical information clearly.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of CCNA concepts.
- Exposure to Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti,



TP-Link, D-Link, or similar networking devices.
- CCNA certification or currently pursuing CCNA will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows networking.
- Interest in IoT, smart home automation, or embedded technology.
- Basic understanding of MQTT, Zigbee, Thread, or BLE will be an advantage.
