Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SEO Team Lead with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SEO strategy, team management, and client/project handling. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing and executing SEO strategies, managing SEO campaigns, analyzing performance, and leading a team of SEO professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple websites and clients.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team to achieve campaign goals and performance targets.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits.
- Oversee on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO activities.
- Monitor website performance, rankings, traffic, conversions, and overall SEO growth.
- Identify SEO issues and provide effective solutions to improve organic visibility.
- Work closely with content, development, and other teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO platforms for analysis and reporting.
- Prepare and review SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
- Handle client communication, requirements, and campaign strategy discussions when required.
- Ensure timely execution of SEO plans and achievement of defined KPIs.

Requirements

- 5–7 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably with agency experience.




- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, technical, local, and international SEO.
- Proven experience in leading or managing an SEO team.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar platforms.
- Good analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective.
- Experience in client handling and reporting will be an added advantage.
