Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation, maintenance, and construction activities. The successful candidate will supervise electrical teams, coordinate with engineers and contractors, ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation and maintenance activities.
- Manage electricians, technicians, subcontractors, and other electrical site personnel.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure electrical work is completed according to approved drawings, standards, and project schedules.
- Inspect electrical installations and ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, and other site activities.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical works.
- Monitor project progress and report updates, delays, and technical issues to management.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate corrective and repair work.
- Ensure proper installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and testing of cables, panels, switchgear, lighting, power systems, and other electrical equipment.
- Maintain records of daily activities, inspections, testing, materials, and manpower.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Enforce workplace health and safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE.




- Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe electrical working practices.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in safe working condition.
- Identify potential problems and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and rework.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Experience supervising electricians and electrical subcontractors.
- Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and construction standards.
- Ability to plan and coordinate multiple electrical activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Relevant electrical licenses, certifications, or safety training are an advantage.

Experience

5+ years of relevant electrical experience, including previous experience supervising electrical teams and managing site electrical activities.
