We are looking for an experienced and responsible Farm Manager with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably in coconut farming, to manage and oversee day-to-day agricultural operations at our farm in Ramanathapuram.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of coconut cultivation, farm maintenance, labour management, irrigation, pest and disease control, and overall farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the coconut farm
- Plan and supervise coconut cultivation, maintenance, harvesting, and farm development
- Monitor the health and growth of coconut trees and identify pest, disease, and nutrient-related issues
- Plan and manage irrigation, fertilization, manure application, and soil maintenance
- Supervise farm workers and allocate daily activities efficiently
- Monitor harvesting activities and ensure proper handling and storage of produce
- Maintain farm equipment, tools, irrigation systems, and other agricultural infrastructure
- Coordinate with agricultural suppliers for fertilizers, pesticides, manure, seedlings, and other requirements
- Maintain records of farm activities, labour, expenses, yields, and production




- Monitor farm productivity and implement practices to improve yield and efficiency
- Ensure proper cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the farm premises
- Report farm progress, requirements, and issues to management regularly

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in farm management
- Strong practical experience in coconut farming is mandatory/preferred
- Good knowledge of coconut cultivation and farm maintenance practices
- Experience in managing farm labour and daily agricultural activities
- Knowledge of irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease management
- Ability to independently manage farm operations
- Valuable leadership and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor farm conditions
- Candidates with experience managing large-scale coconut plantations will be preferred
