Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant Manager to oversee maintenance activities across production machinery and utilities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, team supervision, and continuous improvement within the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machines and utilities.
- Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Prepare, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare-parts inventory.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team while ensuring compliance with workplace safety practices.
- Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Ensure maintenance processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and industrial utilities.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, and industrial automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and maintenance planning.
- Valuable leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Eligibility

- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry.
- Candidates with hands-on experience managing production equipment and maintenance teams will be preferred.
