Job Summary

Durwasa Ayurved is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage and grow sales operations across the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in field sales, distributor management, team handling, market expansion, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage sales operations and business development in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Distributors, Dealers, Retailers, and Key Customers.
- Identify and appoint new distributors and expand the distribution network.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Plan and execute market visits and field activities.
- Monitor market coverage and sales performance of the team.
- Guide, motivate, and manage Sales Executives/field sales team.
- Track primary and secondary sales.
- Ensure proper product availability and market visibility.
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis.
- Handle distributor orders, stock availability, and payment follow-ups.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.




- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager regarding market performance and challenges.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
- 2–6 years of experience in Field Sales / FMCG / Ayurvedic / Pharma / Healthcare / Consumer Products.
- Experience in Distributor and Dealer handling is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of the assigned market/territory.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Target-oriented and willing to travel extensively in the field.
- Must have a valid Driving Licence and own two-wheeler.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.
