The Clinical Dietician will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing individualized diet plans, providing dietary counselling, and monitoring nutritional progress. The Dietician will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient recovery and overall health.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct nutritional assessments for patients based on medical conditions, treatment plans, and nutritional requirements.
- Prepare individualized diet plans for inpatient and outpatient patients.
- Provide dietary counselling to patients and their family members.
- Develop appropriate diets for patients with conditions such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, kidney disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and post-operative requirements.
- Plan and recommend nutrition programs for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding patients' nutritional requirements.
- Monitor patients' nutritional intake and progress and modify diet plans when required.
- Educate patients regarding healthy eating, lifestyle modification, weight management, and preventive nutrition.
- Provide nutritional guidance before and after surgery wherever required.
- Maintain accurate records of nutritional assessments, diet plans,



counselling, and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with hospital food safety, hygiene, and nutritional standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen/catering team to ensure prescribed diets are prepared and served correctly.
- Participate in patient education programs, health camps, and hospital wellness initiatives.
- Stay updated with current clinical nutrition guidelines and evidence-based practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition / Food & Nutrition.
- Relevant clinical or hospital experience is preferred.
- Registration with a recognized qualified body, where applicable.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
- Strong patient counselling and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Patient-focused and compassionate approach.
- Ability to prepare practical and culturally appropriate diet plans.
- Good knowledge of nutrition requirements for pre-operative and post-operative patients.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
