Key Responsibilities:

- Quality checking of raw materials (virgin resin, recycled plastic, additives) before processing
- In-process quality checks during the extrusion/granulation process
- Testing finished granules/chips for:
- Melt Flow Index (MFI/MFR)
- Moisture content
- Colour consistency & dispersion
- Granule size uniformity
- Contamination/foreign particle check
- Density
- Maintaining batch-wise quality records and test reports
- Coordinating with production for process deviation correction (temperature, screw speed issues affecting quality)
- Sample testing before dispatch, maintaining retained samples
- Handling customer complaints related to quality, root cause analysis

Skills Required:

- Knowledge of polymer properties, resin behavior, MFI testing
- Familiarity with lab equipment - MFI tester, moisture analyser
- Understanding of extrusion/compounding process — added advantage
- Basic Excel for quality reports
- Attention to detail, documentation discipline
- Qualification:



Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Plastic Technology / Mechanical / Production Engineering (Plastic Technology preferred/added advantage)
- Experience: 1–3 years in manufacturing QC (plastics/injection moulding industry preferred) Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Selection will be based on skills.
