About the Role

Wings Institute is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Hotel Management Faculty member who can provide students with strong theoretical knowledge, practical hospitality skills, and industry-oriented training.

The faculty member will be responsible for teaching key hotel management subjects, conducting department-wise practical sessions, developing students’ professional skills, and preparing them for employment in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other hospitality organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Training

Deliver classroom and practical training in major areas of hotel operations, including:

- Front Office Operations
- Reservations and guest registration
- Check-in and check-out procedures
- Guest handling and communication
- Concierge and bell desk operations
- Telephone etiquette
- Billing and cashiering procedures
- Handling guest complaints and special requests
- Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Training students in hotel PMS operations
- Reservations and room allocation
- Guest profile management
- Check-in/check-out procedures through PMS
- Billing, folio management and reports
- Familiarisation with industry-standard hotel software and systems
- Food & Beverage Service
- Restaurant operations
- Table setup and mise-en-place
- Different styles of food and beverage service
- Order taking and guest interaction
- Menu knowledge
- Banquet and event service
- Restaurant etiquette and service standards
- Food Production / Culinary Arts / Baking
- Basic and advanced food preparation
- Kitchen organisation and operations
- Knife skills and cooking techniques
- Indian and international cuisine fundamentals
- Bakery and confectionery basics

- Housekeeping documentation and coordination with other departments

Practical Training

- Conduct regular hands-on practical sessions for Front Office, Food & Beverage Service, Food Production, Bakery and Housekeeping.
- Demonstrate hotel-standard operating procedures and ensure students practise them independently.
- Create simulated hotel environments and role-play exercises for practical learning.
- Train students in professional grooming, hygiene, etiquette and hospitality standards.
- Assess students’ practical performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline, safety and professional standards during practical sessions.

Student Development & Placement Preparation

- Prepare students for hotel job interviews and campus placements.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide individual feedback.
- Train students in:
- Interview techniques
- Resume/CV preparation
- Professional communication
- Spoken English for hospitality
- Grooming and personal presentation
- Body language
- Guest interaction
- Group discussions
- Hospitality terminology
- Help students understand different career opportunities within the hotel and hospitality industry.
- Guide students regarding hotel internships, industrial training and entry-level career opportunities.

Academic Responsibilities

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching material, practical exercises and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests, practical evaluations and student performance reviews.
- Maintain attendance and academic records.
- Monitor individual student progress and provide additional support where required.
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops and institutional activities.




- Assist in improving and updating the hospitality curriculum according to current industry practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of major hotel operational departments.
- Practical understanding of hotel industry standards and SOPs.
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct both classroom teaching and practical training.
- Confidence in mentoring and preparing students for hospitality industry interviews.
- Professional grooming and strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

- Previous teaching or hospitality training experience will be preferred.
- Relevant operational experience in a reputed hotel, resort, restaurant or hospitality organisation will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in multiple hotel departments will be preferred.
- Knowledge of commonly used hotel PMS and hospitality software will be an added advantage.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a faculty member who can go beyond textbook teaching and prepare students for the actual working environment of the hospitality industry. The candidate should be able to combine theoretical concepts with demonstrations, simulations, practical exercises and real hotel-industry examples so that students become confident, employable hospitality professionals.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
