OT Technician – Job Description

Position: OT Technician

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Department: Operation Theatre (OT)

Location: Eden Critical Care Hospital, Chandigarh

Job Responsibilities

* Assist doctors and surgical teams during operative procedures.

* Prepare and arrange OT instruments, equipment, and surgical supplies before procedures.

* Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of OT instruments and equipment.

* Maintain OT readiness, cleanliness, and infection-control standards.

* Handle surgical instruments and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Assist in patient preparation and positioning as per procedure requirements.

* Maintain OT stock, inventory, and records of consumables.

* Follow hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

* Coordinate with nursing and medical staff for smooth OT operations.





* Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the senior/OT in-charge.

Eligibility

* Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification.

* Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience.

* Valuable knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization, and OT procedures.

* Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure.

Skills Required

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Responsible and disciplined approach.

* Knowledge of OT safety and infection-control protocols.

* Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including emergencies.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
