About SAMVEDA
SAMVEDA Trading International is developing an integrated Health, Wellness and Elderly Day Care Centre in Kanyakumari District, providing accessible healthcare, preventive health services, physiotherapy, wellness programmes and professional day-care support for senior citizens.
We are looking for a responsible, energetic and organised Programme Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration and coordination of the Centre.
Job Summary
The Programme Administrator will be responsible for the overall daily administration, programme coordination, patient/member support, staff coordination, documentation, scheduling, billing coordination, outreach activities and operational reporting of the Health & Elderly Day Care Centre.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, communicate professionally with doctors, staff, elderly clients and their families, and ensure that the Centre operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Centre Administration
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Health & Elderly Day Care Centre.
- Coordinate reception, appointments, patient/member registration and daily schedules.
- Maintain attendance and duty schedules for staff and visiting professionals.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, discipline and proper functioning of the Centre.
- Coordinate maintenance, supplies, equipment and basic administrative requirements.
- Maintain proper records and administrative files.
2. Healthcare Programme Coordination
- Coordinate appointments with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, consultants and other professionals.
- Support smooth patient flow and appointment management.
- Coordinate health check-ups, wellness programmes and health camps.
- Coordinate diagnostic/sample-collection services and external service providers.
- Maintain follow-up schedules for patients and elderly members.
- Ensure that administrative procedures comply with Centre policies and applicable regulations.
3. Elderly Day Care Programme
- Coordinate daily activities and services for elderly members.
- Maintain individual member records and attendance.
- Communicate regularly with family members regarding schedules and programme activities.
- Coordinate physiotherapy, exercise, recreation, nutrition and wellness activities.
- Assist with emergency coordination and referral procedures when required.
- Develop a caring, respectful and safe setting for senior citizens.
- Organise social, cultural, recreational and wellness activities.
4. Staff & Consultant Coordination
- Prepare daily/weekly duty schedules.
- Coordinate visiting doctors and consultants.
- Monitor attendance and punctuality.
- Conduct regular staff meetings.
- Identify operational problems and report them to management.
- Support recruitment and induction of new staff when required.
5. Finance & Billing Coordination
- Coordinate daily billing and receipt records.
- Monitor service payments and outstanding amounts.
- Maintain daily cash/online payment summaries.
- Coordinate with the accountant for monthly financial reports.
- Monitor programme expenses and consumable requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
6. Marketing & Community Outreach
- Support local marketing and community outreach programmes.
- Coordinate health camps, senior citizen awareness programmes and corporate health activities.
- Develop relationships with local companies, schools, communities and referral networks.
- Support social media, WhatsApp and other promotional activities.
- Follow up with enquiries and prospective members/customers.
7. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare regular reports covering:
- Daily patient/member attendance
- OPD and consultation activity
- Elderly day-care attendance
- Revenue and collection summary
- Health programmes and outreach activities
- Staff attendance
- Operational issues
- Customer/member feedback
- Monthly performance indicators
Required Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, Social Work, Management, or a related field.
Candidates with qualifications such as BHA, MHA, BSW, MSW, MBA or equivalent will be considered.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in healthcare administration, hospital/clinic management, elderly care, day-care centre management, wellness centre, NGO programme administration or a similar role.
- Experience coordinating doctors and healthcare professionals will be an advantage.
- Experience working with elderly people or senior-care programmes will be highly preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong communication, computer and administrative skills may also be considered for a junior position.

- Experience with hospital/clinic management software.
- Knowledge of appointment and billing systems.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Experience in community outreach or health camps.
- Digital marketing/social media knowledge.
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge.
Working Hours
Full-time position.
The Centre may operate on a 6-day working schedule, with working hours determined according to the Centre's operational requirements.
Occasional evening/weekend work may be required for health camps, special programmes or events.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualification, experience and demonstrated management capability.
Performance incentives may be provided based on Centre performance and agreed targets.
