About AtumX

We're AtumX — a creative tech startup incubated at Anna University, Chennai, building "funtastic" STEM kits and robotics toys that turn tech-learning into a hands-on adventure for students across India. From our custom-built electronics to our ready-to-use kits, we're on a mission to make robotics as intuitive as play and as impactful as real-world engineering.

The Role

We're hiring a creative generalist — part illustrator, part graphic designer, part visual storyteller — to shape the entire look and feel of our product ecosystem. You'll work directly with the founding team and own every visual a customer touches, from the icons inside our app to the box a kit ships in.

This is a pure asset-creation role. If you love to draw, design, and bring playful ideas to life across both screen and print, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

- Illustrate original vector icons, pop-up graphics, and asset states for our desktop application
- Design product packaging and box artwork that stands out on a shelf
- Create custom doodles, character assets, and instructional graphics for our manuals and product documentation
- Develop marketing collateral, layouts, and promotional posters
- Partner with the founders to establish and maintain a cohesive AtumX brand style

What You'll Bring





- 1–2 years of professional experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or Visual Designer (outstanding fresh graduates from robust design programs — show us your portfolio and we'll take a look)
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital illustration, drawing, and graphic layout
- Expert command of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Procreate or similar tools
- A solid understanding of typography, design specs, and packaging layouts
- The range and self-direction of a true generalist who can jump from an app icon to a product box without missing a beat

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
