The Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests, sample analysis, equipment operation, documentation, and maintaining laboratory safety and quality standards..

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and prepare samples for testing.
- Perform routine laboratory tests according to approved procedures and SOPs.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory records.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, media, and other laboratory materials as required.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, quality-control procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Identify and report abnormal or out-of-specification results.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of laboratory materials.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology
