Job summary

We are looking for a Marketing Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, promoting company machinery and solutions, and achieving sales targets.

The candidate should be comfortable with regular customer visits and technical discussions and should coordinate with internal Design, Production, and Service teams to provide suitable solutions to customers.

Responsibilities & Duties

- Prepare a monthly customer visit schedule covering Maharashtra and other parts of India.
- Conduct a minimum of 15 customer-visit days per month and maintain proper customer visit records.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Contact potential customers through telephone, email, referrals, digital platforms, and other sources.
- Present the company's machinery, products, features, and technical solutions to customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable and cost-effective machine solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical offers, and customer enquiries.
- Maintain regular follow-up with potential customers and track enquiry status.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Service, and other internal teams to address customer requirements.
- Collect and analyze market information, customer feedback, competitor activities, and pricing trends.
- Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads and prospects.




- Achieve assigned sales targets and generate new business leads.
- Follow up with customers from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, and delivery coordination.
- Attend customer meetings and understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales/marketing reports for Top Management.
- Keep updated with market trends, customer requirements, competitor products, and marketing strategies.
- Travel to customer locations across Maharashtra and other parts of India as required.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Key Skills

- Good understanding of engineering products and machinery.
- Ability to understand customer technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
- Positive communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Excel / PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare sales reports and maintain customer databases.
- Strong business development and lead-generation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
- Good coordination skills with internal engineering and production teams.

Qualification & Experience

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.

· Experience

2–5 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, business development, machinery, engineering products, or a manufacturing company preferred.
