Job descriptionJob Title : Business Head - SPOT/ProductLocation: Lower Parel, MumbaiExperience: 5-10 YearsRole Overview :We are looking for a energetic product leader to take end-to-end ownership of our SPOT Business and drive the evolution of SPOT 2.0, our next-generation online trading platform, spanning business strategy, product management, live trading operations, procurement, technology, customer experience, and market strategy.The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, product thinking, and technology leadership to build scalable digital platforms and manage live market operations, with experience in bullion/gold, trading platforms, fintech, exchanges, B2B marketplaces, commodity trading, or live-price technology products preferred.Key Responsibilities :1. SPOT Business & Market OperationsOwn the end-to-end SPOT business, covering spot purchasing, pricing, premiums, spreads, liquidity, sourcing, profitability, and operational efficiency, while leveraging domestic and international market dynamics, market intelligence, and data-led decision-making to drive business performance and continuous process improvement.2. Product Ownership SPOT 2.0Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of SPOT 2.0, driving new products/services, pricing models, workflows, automation, scalability, and customer experience. Act as the business owner for technology initiatives, partnering with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver reliable, scalable trading capabilities with live pricing and seamless transactions.3. Procurement & International BusinessLead gold procurement and international imports, managing overseas suppliers, bullion banks, logistics partners, and clearing agencies while ensuring compliance with RBI, DGFT, customs, and all applicable regulations.4. Customer Experience & OperationsOversee customer support and operational service quality,



improving SLAs, processes, customer satisfaction, and retention while using customer insights to drive product and service enhancements.5. SPOT Centre ExpansionManage and strengthen existing SPOT centres while identifying and establishing new locations, ensuring standardized operations, governance, processes, and service quality across all centres.6. Risk, Compliance & GovernanceManage market, operational, settlement, and business risks, ensuring strong compliance and governance in partnership with Finance, Compliance, and Legal teams.7. Leadership, Analytics & ReportingLead cross-functional teams and present business performance, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to leadership, while maintaining MIS/KPI dashboards covering procurement, margins, imports, operations, transactions, and platform performance.Ideal Candidate Profile :Experience in Product Management, Trading Platforms, Fintech, Commodity Trading, Exchanges, B2B Marketplaces, or Gold/Bullion, with a proven track record of building and scaling digital products, marketplaces, or live trading platforms and strong knowledge of technology development, Agile delivery, live pricing, transaction systems, and platform operations. Ability to collaborate across Business, Product, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Success; bullion/precious metalsexperience is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional platform/product leaders.Key Competencies :1.)
