SAP APO / SAP PPDS Consultant Key Requirements - 4–7 years of experience in SAP APO and/or SAP PPDS - Solid experience in end-to-end implementation projects - Good understanding of: - Production planning - Detailed scheduling - Capacity planning - Order sequencing - Supply and demand planning processes - Hands-on experience in: - Requirement gathering - Solution design - SAP configuration - Testing and defect resolution - Go-live and hypercare support - Strong knowledge of: - PDS / PPM - Planning procedures - Heuristics - Scheduling board - Alerts and exception handling - Experience with CIF integration between APO and ECC is preferred - Exposure to SAP S/4HANA embedded PP/DS is a plus - Understanding of integration with PP, MM, SD, QM, and related modules - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work effectively with client business and IT teams Functional Responsibilities · Work with client business teams to understand planning and scheduling requirements · Participate in workshops for requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design · Configure and support SAP APO / SAP PPDS based on business requirements · Support process design for:



· Demand and supply planning · Production planning · Detailed scheduling · Capacity planning · Order planning and sequencing · Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with upstream and downstream business processes · Prepare and review functional design documents and related project deliverables · Support testing activities, including unit testing, SIT, and UAT · Assist in defect analysis, issue resolution, and system stabilization · Support data migration, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare activities · Provide user support and training during implementation and rollout phases · Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and custom developments · Ensure delivery of high-quality consulting services in line with project timelines and standards Preferred Background - Experience in manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, pharma, or industrial sectors - SAP APO / PPDS certification is preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, Operations, or related field
