From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. The Strategic Alliances Center of Excellence (SA CoE) is Google India Marketing's horizontal strategic engine with a mission to transform Google's partnership strategy from traditional, outbound commercial sponsorships into high-leverage ecosystem alliances.



Operating across all major Product Areas including Gemini, Search, YouTube, Google Pay, Pixel, Android, and Play the CoE creates defensible market moats and drives user habituation across some of the core User Segments: Youth, Premium, Merchants, and Bharat, among others. As the Senior Strategic Alliance Lead, you will play a role in hunting and scoping, architecting high-impact agreements and be the strategic steward of Google India's partnership portfolio. You will shape the overarching strategy for asset exchanges, negotiate multi-year mega-alliances with C-suite executives across India's leading conglomerates, and establish institutional governance across Google Marketing. This is a leadership role requiring strategic goal, enterprise commercial acumen, and the ability to rally matrixed leadership across cross-product, cross-functional but also local, regional, and global teams. **Responsibilities** + Transform Partner Ecosystems: Play a role in shifting Google India's marketing partnerships from transactional investments to multi-year alliances that build strategic moats across key growth priorities (Gen Z, Premium, Bharat). + Architect large Alliances: Lead the end-to-end strategy, structuring, and high-stakes C-suite negotiations for complex, multi-party alliances with media, CPG, among others. + Design Cross-Product Proposals: Synthesize various capabilities across Google's Product Areas (Gemini, Search, YouTube, Google Pay) into cohesive value propositions. + Govern Portfolio and Risk: Enforce commercial discipline using Strategic Screening tools to prioritize high-leverage agreements, define guardrails, and audit ecosystem performance. + Drive Executive Alignment: Partner with senior Google leaders across multiple areas (Marketing, Legal, PR, Partnerships) to secure strategic commitments and upskill the broader marketing organization.
