About the Role
Schbang is rebuilding its Communications function. The Social & Content Lead owns Schbang's presence on Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube - turning the company's narrative into content people actually want to watch, save and share. You'll set the strategy, build and run the content calendar, spot what's working before it's obvious, and lead the team that turns your briefs into finished work: video editors, graphic designers and a communications writer.
This is a hybrid strategist-manager role. Half the job is deciding what Schbang should say and where. The other half is running a small creative team well enough that good ideas consistently ship on time and at quality. You'll report to the Head of Communications, who sets the overall narrative - your job is to translate that into a channel and content strategy, and make it land.

Strategy & Content
- Develop and Execute Strategy: Design and implement a robust social media strategy across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X to align with overall business goals and brand. Define content pillars, tone,



and the editorial/content calendar
- Content Creation & Curation: Ideate, write, and oversee the production of high-quality, visually appealing content (Reels, Carousels, Stories, and videos) tailored to the agency niche. You are happy to appear on camera, shoot, edit and handle everything yourself, OR you can delegate these tasks to the respective team members.
- Community Building: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, basic knowledge of agency as a business is appreciated. Understand each platform's audience and adapt content and format accordingly, instead of posting the same thing everywhere. Own social listening and feed it back into what gets made next
- Campaign Management: Lead the social rollout for certain offline events.
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm updates, and viral audio to ensure the brand remains culturally relevant and creative
