About the Company

Quantiphi is an AI-first digital engineering company that leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies to solve complex business problems and drive innovation across diverse industries. They specialize in building data platforms and developing custom AI solutions, primarily on Google Cloud Platform, to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What This Role Is

This is not a training coordinator role. It is not a curriculum administrator role.

We are looking for a Learning Business Partner who operates as a learning solutions architect. Someone who sits with a business unit leader, diagnoses the real capability gap, designs the intervention, builds it, ships it, and proves it worked.

You will own a portfolio of internal business units. For each one, you are the single point of accountability for capability. You will understand their delivery pressures, their hiring plans, their client commitments, and their skill gaps well enough to propose solutions before they ask.

You will also be expected to go outside the company for talent. When the expertise does not exist internally, you will find the practitioner who has it, reach them directly, and bring them in.

A partner who takes requests is a service desk. A partner who builds solutions is a multiplier. We are hiring for the second.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnership and Diagnosis

- Own a defined portfolio of business units and functions as their primary L&D; partner.
- Build direct working relationships with unit leaders, delivery heads, and practice owners. Earn a seat in their planning conversations, not just their training requests.
- Diagnose capability gaps using business evidence. Delivery metrics, client feedback, deployment readiness, attrition patterns, project staffing constraints. Not survey data alone.
- Distinguish problems that learning can solve from problems it cannot. Say so clearly when the answer is a process fix, a hiring decision, or a management conversation.
- Translate business goals into capability requirements. Translate capability requirements into learning solutions with defined outcomes.
- Challenge poorly framed requests. When a leader asks for a two-day workshop, your job is to ask what changes on Monday if it works.

2. Solution Architecture and Build

- Architect end-to-end learning solutions across modalities. Instructor-led, digital, cohort-based, on-the-job, coaching, assessment, certification.
- Build the solution yourself. This role is hands-on. You will write learning objectives, structure content, design assessments, build assets, and configure delivery. You will not hand a brief to someone else and wait.
- Design role-based learning paths for technical and business roles. Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Cloud and Backend Engineering, Prompt Engineering, Test Automation, Business Analysis, Software Development, and roles that do not exist yet.
- Integrate AI tools, agentic workflows, and applied AI concepts as a foundational layer across solutions, not as a bolt-on module.
- Use AI to build faster. We expect you to work with LLMs, authoring tools, and automation to compress design cycles. Craft matters. So does speed.
- Design assessment and gating logic. Every solution needs a way to tell who is ready and who is not.
- Reuse before you rebuild. Maintain a modular content library so solutions compose rather than start from zero.

3. External Practitioner Sourcing and Negotiation

- Use LinkedIn Recruiter fluently. Build Boolean and filtered searches,

run projects, manage pipelines, track response rates, and refine sourcing strategy based on what converts.
- Identify practising experts in the market who can teach. Distinguish credible practitioners from professional trainers with thin field experience.
- Write InMail that senior practitioners actually answer. Personalised, specific, and short.
- Negotiate directly on scope, rate, delivery dates, intellectual property, and quality expectations. Close the engagement without escalating every conversation.
- Build and maintain a standing bench of external Subject Matter Experts, freelance trainers, and boutique vendors who can be mobilised at short notice.
- Manage commercial hygiene. Contracting, purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor onboarding, working with Procurement and Finance.
- Hold external practitioners to the same delivery and quality standard as internal SMEs. Exit the ones who do not meet it.

4. Delivery Ownership

- Be fully accountable for delivery of every solution in your portfolio. No session goes undelivered.
- Identify, engage, and manage internal Subject Matter Experts. Build a named backup for every critical session before the calendar is published.
- Bring in external SMEs, vendors, and freelance trainers when internal capacity is insufficient.
- Facilitate sessions yourself where it is the right call. You should be able to hold a room of 100 plus learners and be credible with a technical audience.
- Run multiple cohorts and parallel tracks without dropping operational quality.

5. Measurement and Impact

- Define success metrics with the business leader before the solution is built, not after it is delivered.
- Instrument every solution. Track completion, capability movement, and business outcome.
- Report to leadership in the language of impact. Deployment readiness, billable ramp time, certification attainment, client feedback. Not attendance counts.
- Kill solutions that do not work. Scale the ones that do.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work with Talent Acquisition on the capability implications of hiring plans, and share sourcing intelligence gathered from the external market.
- Work with delivery leadership on bench readiness and redeployment.
- Work with practice leads on certification targets and partner requirements.
- Contribute to the L&D; operating model. Share what you build. Improve what others built.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Business Partnering

- Proven experience acting as a strategic partner to senior business stakeholders, not an order taker.
- Ability to influence without authority. You will have no formal power over the leaders you serve.
- Comfort with commercial context. You should understand how the business makes money and how capability affects that.
- Skill in reframing requests, managing pushback, and holding a position when the evidence supports it.
- Track record of turning a vague business complaint into a scoped, measurable intervention.

Solution Design and Build

- Exceptional instructional design skills. Strong pedagogical and aesthetic judgment. Learning experiences must be engaging, well structured, and effective.

- Demonstrated experience building structured, multi-week programs for technical and skilled audiences.
- Fluency in writing role-specific learning objectives and converting them into practical content.
- Hands-on ability with authoring tools, LMS platforms, assessment design, and content production.
- Experience designing for measurable behaviour change, not content completion.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them under real delivery constraints.

Sourcing, Negotiation, and Vendor Management

- Demonstrated hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean search, projects, InMail campaigns, and pipeline management. Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or comparable sourcing tools is an advantage.
- Proven track record of cold outreach to senior external practitioners with a credible response rate.
- Direct experience negotiating commercial terms with freelancers, consultants, and training vendors.
- Ability to assess practitioner credibility from a profile, a portfolio, and a thirty minute conversation.
- Experience running a vendor bench with documented backup coverage for every critical delivery.
- Comfort with contracting workflows, rate benchmarking, and procurement processes.

Technical Credibility

- Working knowledge of foundational concepts across at least three of the following: Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Software Engineering, Cloud Platforms (GCP or AWS), Business Analysis, Test Automation.
- Practical familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic systems, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Ability to read a technical curriculum, assess its quality, and hold your own in a design conversation with a senior engineer.
- Understanding of industry certifications and technical competency frameworks.

Delivery Assurance and Program Management

- Proven ability to identify, engage, and manage internal and external Subject Matter Experts.
- Experience building SME backup strategies that guarantee zero disruption to live delivery.
- Track record of maintaining continuity in high-pressure, resource-constrained conditions.
- Ability to run multiple portfolios, cohorts, and tracks in parallel.
- Strong organisational discipline across scheduling, resourcing, tracking, and reporting.
- Comfort with LMS platforms, project management tools, and reporting systems.

Communication

- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Confidence presenting to senior leadership and defending a design decision.
- Skill in translating learning outcomes into business impact metrics.
- Ability to write short, sharp progress updates that a busy leader will actually read.
- Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.

Experience Requirements

- 7 to 9 years in Learning and Development, capability building, technical training, or learning consulting.
- Prior experience as a Learning Business Partner, HR Business Partner, learning consultant, or solutions architect is strongly preferred.
- Experience in a technology company, AI and data services firm, or professional services environment is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated success building capability programs from the ground up, not inheriting and maintaining them.
- Track record of managing delivery for cohorts of 50 or more learners.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth organisations where scope changes and priorities move.
- Prior exposure to multi-location delivery and distributed teams is a plus.
