Job Role: Mechanic – Roadside Assistance

Job Description

- Respond to vehicle breakdown calls and reach the assigned customer location within the required response time.
- Inspect cars and bikes to identify mechanical, electrical, battery, tyre, brake, fuel, and engine-related issues.
- Diagnose vehicle problems quickly using available tools and equipment.
- Perform on-the-spot repairs wherever possible, including:

- Jump-starting batteries
- Tyre replacement
- Puncture handling
- Minor mechanical repairs
- Basic electrical troubleshooting

Determine whether the vehicle requires towing or pickup.Coordinate with the towing team when roadside repair is not possible.Explain the identified issue and required next steps clearly to customers.Carry, maintain, and properly use the assigned toolkit and equipment.Update job status, service details, and repair information through the company app/system.Follow safety procedures while working at roadside and highway locations.Handle both car and bike breakdown cases as assigned.Maintain professional customer service throughout the roadside assistance process.
Required Qualifications





- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in car and/or bike mechanical work.
- ITI Certificate in Automobile/Mechanic Trade is preferred.
- Good knowledge of:

- Automobile engines
- Batteries
- Braking systems
- Tyres
- Vehicle electrical systems
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting

Ability to diagnose vehicle issues quickly with limited tools.Valid driving license required.Two-wheeler driving license is mandatory; four-wheeler license is preferred.Comfortable travelling across Hyderabad.Willingness to work night shifts when required.Basic smartphone knowledge for updating job details through the app.
