A leading international engineering and project management organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its people function This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who can independently own the complete HR function.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

Own end-to-end recruitment for engineering, design, project management and corporate positions — covering workforce planning, sourcing, screening, offer negotiation and onboarding. Build sourcing strategies across job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, consultants and campus channels, and personally lead niche and senior-level hiring. Partner with business heads to align manpower planning with project pipelines, and report on hiring metrics including turnaround time, pipeline health and offer-to-join ratios.

Employee Retention & Engagement

Lead attrition analysis and design targeted retention interventions for critical talent. Conduct exit and stay interviews and translate insights into measurable action. Drive engagement programmes, structured onboarding and pulse surveys, and work with leadership to address flight risk in key positions.

HR Operations & Business Partnering

Own the complete employee lifecycle including performance management, compensation and advantages, employee relations, statutory compliance,



payroll coordination, HR policy design, HRIS administration, learning and development, and succession planning. Provide leadership with HR dashboards and analytics to support decision-making.

Candidate Profile

Essential

- 12–18 years of HR experience, with substantial time in a corporate or business HR capacity
- Demonstrable hands-on recruitment record with quantifiable outcomes
- Proven retention work with measurable results
- End-to-end HR ownership across the full function
- MBA / PGDM / MSW in Human Resources
- Based in Bangalore or open to relocation

Preferred

- Background in engineering consultancy, EPC, power, transmission & distribution, infrastructure or renewable energy
- Bachelors/Masters qualification
- Experience hiring engineers, designers and project professionals
- Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Darwinbox or equivalent HRIS
- Experience building or scaling an HR function
