Job Description

- CICS Systems Programmer
- Install/maintain IBM CICS/TS software and associated tools
- Experience with CICS/TS version migration/upgrade
- Responsible for maintaining CICS definitions, including RDO, BAS, Files, etc
- Responsible for tuning of CICS and capacity planning of CICS resources
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on CICS system performance
- Knowledge of configuring CICSPELX Groups and HA configurations in a SYSPLEX environment
- Experience with RACF
- Experience with CICS troubleshooting issues and dump analysis
- Experience of / exposure to programming languages, including Assembler, COBOL, REXX, SAS, etc
- Document/maintain software inventory of CICS tools and their installation procedures
- Evaluate and research current CICS functionality to exploit new features
- Monitor and apprise management on EOS of existing tools and take proactive action
- Oncall support
